Letztes Jahr waren wir als Teil unserer großen Urlaubsreise nach Australien zu einem Stopover noch für 2 Tage in Singapore.
Eine tolle Stadt in Südostasien, der man allerdings das asiatische nicht sofort ansieht, da es doch sehr westlich geprägt und sehr sauber ist.
Sehr schön ist es abends am Boat Quay am Singapore River zu sitzen und auf die tolle beleuchtete Kulisse vom Clarke Quay zu schauen bzw. umgekehrt. Dazu ein Singapore Sling – was will man mehr.
Der Merlion ist das Wahrzeichen des Stadtstaates Singapore und eine Sagengestalt mit einer Mischung aus Löwe und Fisch. Der Name stammt aus dem Wort Mermaid (Jungfrau) und Lion (Löwe). Die Statue steht am Singapore River mit Blick auf die neugestaltete Marina Bay.
Toll, wie die verschiedenen Farben im Wasser gespiegelt werden!

Excuse me, what’s the secret of taking such a nice pic with a DMC-FZ100 with no noise & with such a high quality?
I still have issues with it in regards to image quality & noise!!
[http://www.flickr.com/photos/il-fuoriclasse] As you can see in the exif data, there is ISO set to 100 at exposure time of 2.5s. Low ISO = Low noise. But you need a tripod of course and no disruption vibration during shoot, so best is to use the 2s selftimer.
